San Antonio receives:
2B Danny Grimes (25, AA) - Minor League Contract
Canton receives:
CF Tim Eaton (21, AAA) - Minor League Contract
Since Then:
Eaton split 2007 between AAA and Canton, and had a breakout year at AAA in 2008, after which he was traded to Tempe.
Grimes had a disappointing 2007 at AA and was claimed on waivers by Tempe in late 2008.
Commentary:
A huge win for the Longshoremen here, even though they would later flip Eaton to Tempe.
