Since Then:
Gallegos was traded along with SS Marcos Sotelo and a 2009 8th round draft pick to Palm Springs for MR Cristo Román and 2B Juan García (7/31/08).
Higgins was traded along with MR Héctor Nieves to West Virginia for RF Will Thomas and SP Flobert Hoeks (7/14/08).
Weaver remains one of the best players in the game. He has been an All-Star and All-Leather Award winner.
