MR Lance Brewer (22, AAA) - minor league contract
SP Mark Thomas (24, AA) - minor league contract
Charleston receives:
C Isidoro Pérez (25, ML) - $0.583
Since Then:
Pérez played decently for Charleston in a starting role in '07 and '08. In '09, Pérez has played sparingly in a backup role to All-Star catcher Jeffrey Graham.
Gómez had a 2-6 record and 7.97 ERA with Canton in the '07 season. He continues to pitch poorly in his tenure with Canton.
Brewer has since been traded to Aurora for LF Miguel Cedeño (5/10/09).
Thomas remains in Canton's farm system most likely serving as a career minor league pitcher.
